We have identified the exact same problem.
We are looking at either logon / logoff scripts to copy the .qat files
in and out, or maybe our AppSense policies to do the same

Hi All -
In Windows 2003 by default the "Local Settings" folder is excluded from
the user's roaming profile. However, that is the location that
Microsoft stores their Quick Access Toolbar files for Office 2007.
Every time the user logs out their settings are lost. I need to have
that directory part of their roaming profile.
How are others handling this? Any Office 2007 users out there?
