Dumb question: How do you add the OSVER variable to a server so that it is
always there anytime someone logs into that server?

yes...seperate the profiles by adding a system variable to all the servers
(NT and W2K) such as OSVER=Win2000 for W2k and OSVER=NT4 for the NT 4.0 TSE
servers. Remember the servers will need a reboot after you have added the
variable. You can then separate the profiles by putting something like the
below in the TS Profile path is users and computers/User manager
\\server\share\%OSVER%\%username%
