Some of the remote clients are wireless within their respective plant. The link from the farm to the remote plant is 512K frame? -----Original Message----- From: Lucas Boyken [mailto:lboyken@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2003 10:45 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Retransmission What kind of remote links are we talking about here? I have seen on this list problems with Citrix and Wireless connections. Something about the latency of wireless messing with Citrix. The other thing I have learned from my esteamed collegues here is that Citrix is somewhat touche about connections. It doesn't like any latency, connections have to be clean and big <-- seen this from expirience too. So, what kind of links are you running to your remotes? Respectfully, Lucas W. Same issue still seeing a great deal of retransmission. Remote connections seem to be about 1/2 of all packets sent from server to client, are retransmitted. This is frustrating. Does not seem to affect anything local to our corporate campus. Must something to do with link latency, but what, and how do I go about fixing it?
