If what you describe is the cause, then one likely solution is as follows.

Download "Launchit" from www.tmurgent.com. It's a free utility. However
RentRoll is started today, replace the command with LaunchIt, with the
normal RentRoll command line as arguments to LaunchIt. (e.g. "Launchit
Rentroll.exe plus args"). LaunchIt will run RentRoll. When the executable
for RentRoll completes, LaunchIt will look for whatever RentRoll is leaving
behind and clean it up. Works with both 16 and 32 bit apps. This should
close the session.

Good luck.

Subject: [THIN] RentRoll - DOS App, Multiple Instances

HI all,

Has anyone every integrated RentRoll? I've got the app configured for
a property management company with 40 sites and it's working fine.
However, in the CMC, I notice that a single user will be listed as
having the published app open multiple times in the same session. From
what I've seen, this occurs when the user gets disconnected or closes
the program and then reconnects. I've tuned TCPMaxDataRetransmissions
and ICAKeepAlives and the disconnects are much less frequent. I think
what's happening is that the user closes the program but it doesn't
actually log them off (they have no other apps open on the Citrix
servers). Then, when they reconnect, they're redirected to their
existing session, but a new instance of RentRoll starts.

FYI:
3 servers
Win2K SP3
MFXP 1.0, FR2
Am using Tame because this DOS app polls the keyboard like crazy - this
has calmed down the CPU usage

Anyone seen this kind of behavior with RentRoll or any other DOS app?

Thanks,
