There is a registry key that puts the outlook icon on the
desktop.=20

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
Desktop\NameSpace\{00020d75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}.

Remove it if you dare.

Subject: [THIN] Removing the Outlook icon on the Desktop

We run MF XP desktops for out clients, and have some who do not use
Outlook through us. We've redirected the Desktop to a folder that we
control, and only put in the shortcuts they want/need. The Outlook icon
still shows up. Any ideas on how to remove it from their desktops?
W2K, MF XPa, Group Policies controlling most things.

Thanks,
