Jane,

By default there is no option to delete the Recycle Bin but when you
change this registry key

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\ShellFold
er from 40010020 to 60010020

Then you have the option to rightclick the Recycle Bin and to choose for
delete.

If you want some users to have the Recycle Bin (like admins) on their
desktop, create a folder and give it the name <<Recycle
Bin.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}>> (without the << >>)

Kind Regards,

Onderwerp: [THIN] Remove recycle bin for users

Hello,

I want to remove the recycle bin from the user's desktop on W2k TSE. Can
someone tell me the registry entry or a policy setting to do this
please.

Many thanks,

Jane
