Hi Doug

So what you really need to solve this issue is an app like defset that remember
the printer
setting on user and appliation basis. So if the user launches Bartender for
example it
automatically changes the printer to the Datamax label printer, but if they
launch MS Word, the
printer flips back to the standard laser printer assifned to them. Is this
correct?

I think I can write a program to do this as the mecahnics of DEFSET are very
flexible. Are your
users using published apps or a full desktop?

Is anyone else interested in a freeware solution like this?

I am very bogged down with customer Citrix installs at the moment, and I'm also
trying to finish
off my latest free app called TS Service Manager, but I'm sure I could tap away
over the next
month or two and come up with an app like this.

Let me know if that's what you're after.
