Hi Alan,

How about, enough for 10-15 more users or a bit of software hive growth
before the server gets into trouble. Expand it to 120 MB. If you've got
enough RAM (1-2 GB) it won't cost you anything.

regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Registry size advice

Going through the archives looking for inspiration to troubleshoot some
performance issues and came across a recommendation to up the maximum size
of the registry. This is curently set to 60MB with an average of 44MB/46MB
in use on fully loaded servers. The question is - Is it worth upping the
maximum size? Does the registry need some 'breathing space'?

Comments please.

Regards,

Alan.

P.S. One could view it as only 15MB left, or on the other hand only 75%
utilised - which would be the correct way of viewing this?
