Bruno,

Are you running in AD / Native mode?

If so, you should have installed you license server on a domain controller. You
should also have installed the TSCAL tokens on that server.

For redundancy, you simply install the license service on another DC. Same
domain, same mode. You keep all your licenses on the first server. If the first
server is unavailable, the 2nd license server can validate clients and TS
servers, and can issue temporary licenses.

The licensing service is very light - you can safely run it on a DC with no
impact on performance.

If you don't have an AD DC, you can only run one license server. A TS only
discovers the licensing service on DCs.

Look for the Licensing White Paper on Microsoft.com

Subject: [THIN] Redundant TS License Server

Currently, we have several servers running Citrix XP FR2 on Windows 2000. One
server is the dedicated TS licensing server. We want to have another box as a
redundant licensing server incase the primary sound fail.

What is the best why to set this up?

Thanks for your help in advance.
