Hypothetically, using something like KIX, WinBatch, or VBScript to read each line of the INI and do a global search and replace, replacing "client/" with "client\"? ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Schneider, Chad M Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2005 2:23 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Rebuild of server fixed published app. not launchi ng... Could you script the .ini change? ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Schneider, Chad M Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2005 12:55 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Rebuild of server fixed published app. not launching... Now...I had seen PS 4.0 on 2003, legacy printers are created "client/" naming convention. I have 2000 servers, MPS 3.0 when it is "client\". I installed MPS 3.0, on this new 2003 server, legacy printer policy works, but creates as "client/". I am not sure this will work, as we have an app. that is to run on these servers, which has an ini, containing printer information, and it is hardcoded as "client\". DOH! Thoughts? I would just move forward, but would have to change INI for that app., in hundreds, maybe thousands of roaming profiles. Chad Schneider Technology Analyst/Citrix Admin.
