They are all done, only lose about 15 minutes of downtime.

Being a 24x7 shop, if we staggered the reboots, user 1 gets on server1.
Gets knocked off for reboot of server 1, load balancing puts him on server
3, we eventually reboot server 3, a users could lose more time getting
knocked off of servers throughout a night/day/week, than with a simple all
in one reboot.

Load balancing would not give you 24x7 uptime, when server 1 needs a reboot,
those users must get off of it, and go to another. Then they get booted
from that one, etc., etc.

I agree with Stephen Kuenzli, what is the benefit to rebooting all the
servers at the same time?

If you had to reboot, wouldn't you want to spread out the reboot schedule
over the week? The load balancing would give you 24/7 uptime.
