My thanks to Paul Stansel and Matthew Shaw for your insights. Both of you went the same direction -- assuming it is the firewall, or something network related. That's what I thought too, except for the fact that I do not encounter the problem when the users connect to the full desktop. Even if they don't do anything and leave it up all day, it never drops the connection. It is only when using published apps that this happens. =20 Any other ideas???? Gerry L.
