I still have the problem of not being able to change the policy because it does not appear. Does anyone know how to get it to appear without completely reloading 2003? Or has anyone else seen this happen after doing an upgrade from 2000 to 2003? The policy is obviously enabled as I get an error message that says it is enabled, but it does not appear in GPEDIT.MSC under Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Printers Does anyone know how to get it to appear so I can change it? The way I got our PDF printer installed was to allow kernel mode drivers and then copied the reg entries and files from machines (w2K) that had it working. adam |---------+----------------------------> | | Dogers | | | <dogers@xxxxxxxxx| | | > | | | Sent by: | | | thin-bounce@freel| | | ists.org | | | | | | | | | 01/13/2005 09:22 | | | AM | | | Please respond to| | | thin | | | | |---------+----------------------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------| | | | To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx | | cc: | | Subject: [THIN] Re: REPOST- Kernel Mode Driver Issue-Can't change Policy-Urgent Please Help | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------| On Thu, 13 Jan 2005 09:09:30 -0700, Joe Shonk <joe.shonk@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Not sure, but why would you want to enable kernel mode drivers? Incredibly, some programs install (or try to) a PDF driver which they use, except that driver is kernel mode :( Andrew ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor SeamlessPlanet.com Domain Names Register your .com domain name for as low as $7.85 One of the lowest prices on the web!
