Smart start 7.0 does not support DL380 G1 servers I think the last =
version that did was 6.4 . There was some documentation about win2k3 on =
a DL380 G1 on the HP web site. If you can't find it email me and I will =
try and dig up the copy I downloaded.
I find both HP & IBM pretty helpful there hardware and software is very =
good generally. No experience of other vendors.
I like the way HP is going LDAP authentication for Remote insight boards =
and other management tools for their servers.

Have you tried upgrading the Bios? Check the Compaq site for softpaq
