Hi Daniel, If you use the MSI you can have problems. However you can also just copy it from another server and use uphclean -install. I will publish now two RDP Clients One RDP-Client and one RCP-Client (with the /console Option) That's quite o.k. P.S. BTW, I need that because it is very hard to convince my colleagues not to install in a "virtual" RDP-Session. Just because 98% of the software installations in virtual sessions work without error, I still believe in better installing in a console session. I found out that e.g. UPHClean could not be installaed in a virtual session. Anyone who can confirm that ? Then make a file association with that file extension to launch MSTSC /CONSOLE The deal is that the RDP file extension is associated with MSTSC without the console switch.=3D20 Ron Oglesby Senior Technical Architect Microsoft MVP, Windows Server=3D20 =3D20 RapidApp, Chicago Office 312.372.7188 Mobile 815.325.7618 email roglesby@xxxxxxxxxxxx =3D20 -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Schoppmann [mailto:dschoppmann@xxxxxx]=3D20 Sent: Tuesday, May 25, 2004 3:44 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] RDP to the console session on W2K3 Hi list I know, that I can connect to via RDP directly to a W2K3 console via commandline: mstsc /v:<hostname> /console but isn't there a way to set the console flag in the RDP Gui or perhaps an entry that I can set in an RDP-Configuration file (*.rdp)? Until now I didn't find anything like that. Hope somebody could help here.
