My guess is this is less than ideal. My users hate non-seamless apps. The window is 1024x768 but users have to scroll within this to find there app.... -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Claus, Brian Sent: 07 March 2006 14:42 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Published application on PC with multiple monitors Have you tried going into your Web Interface settings and setting your screen resolution to 1024 x 768? (Do NOT use seemless windows) -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of BRUTON, Malcolm, FM Sent: Monday, March 06, 2006 9:45 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Published application on PC with multiple monitors After many exhaustive efforts trying to get all this type of stuff to work on Multi monitors I would suggest a few things. Make sure the primary monitor is set to be the uppermost and left most. Also the latest client and citrix patches on servers helps. Lastly make sure you have latest video card drivers. If you have Nvidia cards turn off the multiview option. (this treats two or more monitors like one big monitor) Also investigate the Seamless flags settings. This can change the behaviour on how they display. Lastly no two apps can be the same. One of our apps was maximising to one window and after upgrade went to both !!! We are still on Xpe FR3 but are moving to PS4 ASAP to get away from most of this. We use 1 -8 Screens and 3 or more seems to start causing most problems. I understand you are on latest software so I'd start with looking Nvidia options if that is the hardware you use on clients Malcolm Some links.... http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX106084&searchID=-1 http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX104298&searchID=16293119 http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX101644&searchID=16293230 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ivo Pastyrik Sent: 06 March 2006 14:00 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Published application on PC with multiple monitors Hi all, I have problem with published application on PC with two monitors. Especially with Lotus Notes (but not only with LN), if I try to maximize windows with published LN it is maximized on both monitors. And even if some other application is running on one monitor, messages and other dialogs (for example open file dialog) are displayed in the middle of both monitors so that one half of message is on the first monitor and the second one on the second monitor. Is there some way how to modify this behaviour ? PS 4.0, ICA 9.150 I will appreciate any ideas.
