[THIN] Published application launches Server desktop

Hi all,
on a w2k3 r2 server i have published an app which when i launch it
launches the server desktop.
this happens in seamless and fixed windows. i have checked the path of the
executable. republished and had a look at all the relevant ctx docs. this
only happens on 1 server.
the application launch box starts with the application name and then
changes to the server name
any one seen this before?
