Hi Joe - Well... as I knew it would, the request has come back to map her local printer. Only, it's not truly a local printer... it maps back to our print server. So, how would I add this into the batch file? I don't want to use ScriptLogic just yet, because they are coming across via a slow DSL link, and it takes forever. We tried this before, and they deemed the performance unacceptable. Everything else works great! Here's the contents of the batch file just now: Net Use J: \\Server\Share J:\xyz\xyz.exe I can only find KixStart references in the archives so far. Thanks guys! Alternatively, a batch file called from usrlogn2.cmd, or publish a batch file instead of the .exe. In that batch file you could map the drive, printers, etc.. -----Original Message----- From: Jennifer Booth [mailto:JBooth@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 19, 2002 5:36 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Published Application Question This may be a dumb question, but I don't know what an obvious question is. I need to publish an app for one user that must use a drive letter, not an UNC path. So the shortcut must be x:\xyz\xyz.exe where x: is mapped to \\server\share. How do I accomplish that? I cannot publish the desktop for her... just the app. Any help will be appreciated... I'm going to keep digging for an answer myself. Thanks in advance!
