HII
Pl check the following:
In CMC, rt click on farm name, and see how many instances are allowed.
Now go to the published app in question, and see in user limits, what is the check mark.. there are 2 options there: number of instances of application on farm, and number of instances allowed per user.. pl recheck them

good luck

Subject: [THIN] Published App Restrictions Not Working

Hi All - I am having the following problem (not sure if this is a bug, or
"by design":

1. User connects to a full Citrix desktop published app which runs on
server X.
2. User opens up Citrix Program Neighborhood once logged into the Citrix
Destkop and logs into the application set.
3. User launches a seemless published application, which also happens to
run on server X.
4. Because the user is already logged into the desktop published app on
server X, the seemless published app also launches on server X (so
essentially runs locally - even though launching through the published
app).
5. The seemless published app has a restriction in place to allow only 1
instance per user.

However, the user is able to launch as many instances of the published app from within the Citrix desktop as they want. I would have thought that although the app is running from that box, the restriction would still be enforced to 1 instance only, as it is the published app which is running ???

Any feedback/fixes for this appreciated.

Cheers,
Shane Rees
