Forget it! The traditional desktop and the Terminal Services approach =
are
two totally different environments. Such rigidity set by dictat =
guarantees
you a failure in a Terminal Services environment.

Convince the powers that be that Windows 2000 is one animal and TSE is a
beast unto itself!

Good luck.

Subject: [THIN] Profile compatibility

Okay folks, I'm not sure anyone out there is running a config similar to
ours, but here is the question:

Config:

Windows 2000 Terminal Server for remote access
Windows XP desktops (new interface, not classic)

Problem: Whenever a user from XP logs into TS, the color scheme and =
other
miscellaneous profile attributes get changed such that when they log =
back
into XP nothing looks the same. Single shared roaming profiles between =
TS
and XP are an absolute must...ie, mandatory profiles or separate TS =
profiles
are not an option.

Any idea how to make things consistent?

Thanks in advance for any ideas...
