Gotcha.  I have just recently "inherited" this farm and am still getting the 
policies down and documented.

I wasn't asking about the local caching option as a fix - more to see if
that's what you did normally.

I was trying to understand why it would still believe the profile was
loaded, and why it may still be kicking around.

Only implement this if you would do anyway.
