You also can try to rebuild the LHC

Stop the IMA Service (if it ends with an error and won't stop) Set the
service to start manual Reboot server When server is rebooted Type in a
command prompt : Dsmaint /recreatelhc Start ima service Set the service
to start automatic

Hope this will help, you don't have to edit the registry this way.

Stop the IMA service
Rename the imalhc.mdb localed in programe files\citrix\independent
management architecture to imalhc.old
Open ODBC manager and go to the system DSN tab double click on the
IMAdirectory entry this will bring up the configuration of the ODBC
entry. And browse to the imalhc.old click on the create button and
create imalhc.mdb

Then open the File DSN tab in ODBC manager click on the up arrow until
you reach the program files directory click on citrix diretory then
Indep management arch directory and imalhc.dsn, double click and ensure
that is pointing to the correct path of the imalhc.mdb

Go to the registry under Hkey_local machine\software\citrix\IMA\Runtime
Chagne the value of Psrequired to 1

Restart the IMA service or reboot

This will rebiuld the IMA local host cache

OK. I am a database/odbc neophyte. Can you point me to a doc or
something that tells me how to do what you just said.

Try rebiulding the Local Host Cache and reboot the server and see if
that clears up the issue for you. You may also want to take a look at
the dsn's that point to the local host cache and ensure it is using the
correct path to the mdb

I looked in services under control panel and it says its started. But
if I try to stop it and restart it, it just locks up while stopping.
Then errors out.

Subject: [THIN] Problem with local DS

I created a new system this weekend. NT 4 domain with 1 XP server using
a local DS. Simple enough. Well the server keeps having problems. I
reboot, then about 10 minutes later the CMC can't see any users on the
server. It times out with the following message.

"Unable to collect session data for this server. The request timed out.

Error code: 527"

Anyone have any idea what would cause this? I assume it is not able to
talk to the DS which is local on the same server. Any suggestions would
be greatly appreciated since we are suppose to be live right now and I
am afraid to let people start using it.

Thanks,
