Hi Tobias, I've installed HOTFIX XE102W029 and added the following registry key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix\ClientPrinterAutoCreate Added the following value: Value Name: fCreateNetworkPrinter Value Type: DWORD Value: 1 (to have network printers created as client printers) Value: 0 (to retain the Feature Release 2 behavior) Hope it helps. IF set to 'All client printers', client network print devices would be auto-created. For instance, client user have a local network print device like \\PRINTSERVER\Printdevice, when logging on metaframe this printer would then be \\Client\<Clientname>#\ PRINTSERVER\Printdevice Also, as a second option, printservers could be imported under "printer management", so the client when logging on ALSO get \PRINTERSERVER\Printdevice as an option. I have discovered that when clients print to \\Client\<Clientname> #\PRINTERSEVER\Printdevice (this is true for HP laserjet4000), Metaframeserver goes in bluescreen, but when printing to \\PRINTSERVER\Printdevice everything works great. ..so, users could locally map network printers, wich would be autocreated in metaframe and then hang the server. This is true on MetaframeXP FR1, SP2 under win2K server, SP2. I find this very strange and frustrating. Anybody else had this problem??? best regards, tobias ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------- This E-mail has been scanned by ScanMail and is virusfree. ********************************************************* This Week's Sponsor - RTO Software / TScale TScale increases terminal server capacity.=20 Get 30-40% more users per server to save $$$ and time.=20 Add users now! - not more servers.
