Chris,
I upgraded the Bios and installed the OS with a Windows 2000 w/SP1 CD and
then
applied Service Pack 2. Metaframe installed without the error. I can't be
definite but I suspect the BIOS upgrade did it.

You don't have to re-install Windows 2000, just go through the
"ADD/REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS", click Next, and make sure that
Application Mode is selected and not Remote Administration Mode.

Are you sure you don't have the Terminal Services running in Remote
Admin mode? If so, you shouldn't be able to install MF on it.
Windows 2000 Terminal Services needs to be in Application Mode.

Hi,
On a fresh install of Windows 2000 with SP2, I get a message
stating that the Metaframe setup could not create the TCP/IP
Winstations. The hardware is a Dell 2550 and all I did was added the
Terminal Services onto the Windows2000 installation. Does anyone
have any ideas?
