Thanks. that is what i was looking for. intersting part is that you can't get to that if you run CMC on workstation. It only shows up if you run it on the server. as far as i can tell anyway. any ideas on this? -------------------------------------------- Michael Boggan, Network Eng/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. Your original question was, "I saw where you could tell it not to autocreate printers at all or to autocreate only local printers and not network printers on there local station, etc." -- again, this functionality is found by going into the CMC, right-clicking on "Printer Management" and selecting Properties...for client printer connections you have the options of: Default client printer only, local (non-network) client printers only, all client printers, or use server-dependent settings. Additionally, you have the option of autocreating printers using native drivers, the universal driver, both, or only universal if the native driver fails. Perhaps this was moved in other versions of XP...I'm running NT4 TSE with MF 1.0 XP FR1/SP2... -Dave Melczer dmelczer@xxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: Michael Boggan [mailto:MBoggan@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, December 06, 2002 1:08 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Printer setting No that just lets me turn on or off the autocreation. There was somewhere where i could define what printers got autocreated. I could tell it all, just local and not the networked printers, or just the networked printers, etc. I know I have seen this somewhere. I just can't remember where I saw it. -------------------------------------------- Michael Boggan, Network Eng/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. Dallas, Tx ph. (972) 960.6400 f. Also in the CMC...Right-click on "Printer Management". Hope this helps. -Dave Melczer dmelczer@xxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: Michael Boggan [mailto:MBoggan@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, December 06, 2002 12:18 PM To: THIN (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] Printer setting There was somewhere that you can setup autocreation of printers.
