sounds like your client printers arent auto creating withthe correct =
configs...

i got around this with xerox 440 DC's by hacking the pdd file for the =
printer on the server to create the correct default config as this file =
is used when doing the autocreation.

all our 440's ( 200+ ) are identical luckily..

Subject: [THIN] Printer Problems

Hi All,

Server: W2K (SP2) Adv Server running Terminal Services
Client: Windows NT 4.0 (SP6/a)
Printer: HP 5000 LaserJet PCL 6 (Networked)

We are currently experiencing a problem with our Terminal Server and
HP 5000 LaserJet Series printer.

The problem we're experiencing is that we cannot get access, through a
Terminal Services session, to the additional trays on the printer.
Everything
looks fine at the client side. The client PC can print to any tray =
requested
over the network. However when the client PC is connected through =
Terminal=20
Services, the additional trays are not listed.

Can anyone please help?

TIA,
Rab.
