Sorry I was off yesterday, so we did not finish this. Find out what driver is used on the server side first. Then if it is not the native 4050 driver I would suggest creating a mapping in CMC to HP LaserJet 4 driver. All the LaserJets can print using this driver and it has good reputation in Terminal services environment. Thanks, Pavlo Ignatusha Systems Network Coordinator Pembroke General Hospital Tel. I have a user who is using a 98 machine essentially as a dumb terminal. She has a printer hooked up locally, (the only one) and she can print to it within Windows 98 just fine. (LPT1) She has the option to autocreate her printer upon logon to our W2K Terminal Server (Also running MF 1.8). She can see the printer under her printers folder but when she tries to print it tells her there was an error creating the job. You can see the job being created in the queue but then it says error and it is quickly deleted. Any ideas why printing fails?
