In that case, just set the PSRequired value to 1. This will automatically
recreate the LHC the next time the IMA service starts, which is probably
the next scheduled reboot.

Because I'm so used to this issue, I place the following lines at the end
of my printer driver installation scripts.

SET KEY=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\IMA\Runtime
REG ADD "%KEY%" /v PSRequired /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

Cheers.

I didn't know it did that. You learn something new every day. I'll schedule
that in for next time I have the IMA down. I take it I'll have to do that
on every server?

Recreate the local host cache using the dsmaint command.

I trimmed a load of drivers off one of my PS3 server farms a few weeks ago
while chasing spooler instability problems. The old drivers are gone, no
more, ceased to be etc but the CMC still thinks they are installed. In
addition, it doesn't know about some new drivers that ARE installed.

Refreshing, rebooting and bad language have all so far failed to get the
CMC driver list to reflect reality. Is there some sort of virtual
stick-with-a-nail-in-the-end I can wave at it?
