Dear collective mind,

What is your preferred method of prevening logons to a server in the
run up to some planned maintenance? - Thinking Citrix PS 4.0 or 4.5,
here.

It seems some people like to disable logons (eg change logon /disable
, or the same check-box in the PS console).

I prefer removing the server from its application group,. so it can
still be logged on to via RDP but won't serve any ICA sessions - plus
I get the feeling that with the former approach, there's a danger the
data collector may direct the sessions to a server which will just
gleefully reject the logon attempt.

Which method(s) do you use?
