Yeah we use IPSentry for that. I am just wanting to have a ping running all
day to a few particular ips and use a graph so that I can see the results
and compare them.

Check out What's Up Gold.  It's a pretty good app.  I can even monitor =
your NT services, and restart them if they happen to crash.  I can =
monitor other services.  It's not a bad program for $900.
