Thanks guys for all your help, you reminded me of a lot more steps that need
to be taken when addressing a situation like this, and furthered the need
for Scriptlogic (it's still in testing). But due to the signifcance of the
situation, we ended up rewriting all the install scripts to change all the
drive letters to UNC, and now it works flawlessly. I didn't have time at
all to play around with it, as it was a showstopper for an upgrade taking
place tonight.

Thanks again!

Jennifer

Scratch that, the login scripts are not running even on login. *BAH*

Ok, well, I've done this. And it works properly if I log into the server as
a desktop session. But it does NOT work if I log into a published
application. The 'app' comes up as a full desktop in a seamless window, and
does NOT map the drives. Which is very very strange. I'm doing further
investigation, but if anyone can help me solve this last hurdle, that would
be very very cool.

Thanks,

Jennifer

The best way to keep all of the scripts organized is to create a little
script file in the C:\winnt\application compatibility scripts\logon
directory. In the usrlogon.cmd, add a CALL statement to the compatibility
script. This script will run everytime the application and/or desktop is
logged into - even with RDP.=20

Ok, belay my last... I figured *that* out. But now, my published
applications aren't working properly. They are supposed to start up the
app, but instead, I get a seamless desktop.

There was no usrlogn2.cmd file, so I created one with just the commands
below. I didn't change the published apps, except for one to point to a
batch file, but that's been changed back. The applications work properly on
the desktop now however.

Thanks,

Ok, so I put the net use commands in the usrlogn2.cmd file. It runs, but
now it kicks me right out whenever I log in!

The cmd file contains:

Net use m: \\server\share
Net use n: \\server\share

I can't fix it, cuz now I can't stay logged into the server. It also kicks
me right out of the published app without running it. Any ideas???

Thanks,

Publish the mapping script, and have that script it launch the application
after it does the drive mapping.

Further, login scripts can be "hooked into" Citrix login by putting them in
usrlogn2.cmd (and this would run whether or not Citrix was launched via a
published app or by a Citrix desktop login). I usually use Kix32 for login
scripts because it can do more things that Windows batch programming.
