W2K3 had quite a lot of file access issues which were resolved in SP1.

This sounds very similar to a problem I was experiencing with PS3 /
W2K3. Mapped network drives would not appear in explorer until the drive
letter was manually typed into a File>Open box. Nothing I tried fixed it
but since I upgraded to PS4 (plus hotfixes) and W2K3 SP1, the problem
has vanished.

We had a very similar issue and the only way I was able to
resolve was to turn OFF (set to Disabled/Not configured) the following
settings in my Citrix GPO:
         - User Configuration\Admin Templates\Windows Explorer\Prevent
access to drives from My Computer
         - User Configuration\Admin Templates\Desktop\Hide and disable
all items on the desktop
         - User Configuration\Admin Templates\Desktop\Remove My Computer
icon the desktop

But, we've
encountered a problem with drive mapping that is delaying the
project.
Client drives are mapping, but when a 'File Open' dialog box is
launched,
users do not see all contents of their drives. (Yes, show ALL
FILES is
        selected.)

Generally, only one folder appears in the dialog box showing the
user's
client drive. You can hit F5 a few times and all of the
contents will
appear, but if you continue to hit F5 sometimes you only see one
folder and
sometimes you see everything. The users are running the latest
9.150 web
        client (full version).

Has anyone seen this issue or have a potential solution? This
is a show
stopper for our migration, so any assistance would be GREATLY
appreciated.
