Hi,

I have been looking after our XP FR3 farm for quite a while now and have
been tasked with moving to PS 4.0

It's a relatively small implementation with 160 users going to approx
250 this year.

We usually have no more than 30 users per server and I know this will
increase but I don't what all users on a couple of servers either.

I have my lab set up and running, but I have come to the stage of having
to purchase a test server or two to see how many users I can balance.

As were totally an HP house. I have been looking at the DL 360 G4p.

I was thinking along the lines of the Core Duo processors X 2 with Ultra
3 SCSI disks x 2 (one apps and one page ) no raid as we would usually
keep a spare server in event of failure. And 4 Gb of RAM.

Then I discovered that only the SAS SCSI is supported with the core duo
processors. I read that the SAS SCSI is only faster when there's more
than 3 disks.

As we haven't used any of these new SAS SCIS disks I am unsure of the
abilities.

Basically has anyone any experience using these disks in their citrix
environment ?

Thanks

Ronnie
