** Before acting on this email, or any attachments, you are advised to read Alsters Kelley's disclaimer at the end of this email ** Hi, I'm having an issue with the Temp folder that Outlook uses whilst opening attachments. I want to change the location of the folder for the all users and I was wondering if there is a key in the registry that allows you to change the location for all users, rather than going through each one individually. We have about 100 users so it would be very time consuming. I've tried changing the OutlookSecureTempFolder found at: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\9.0\OUTLOOK\SECURITY but that doesn't seem to work. If I delete the OutlookSecureTempFolder location in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\9.0\OUTLOOK\SECURITY so it is blank, when I try to open an attachment, Outlook prompts me for a location. Therefore the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT e.t.c. doesn't have any influence over the current_users key. Can anyone help? Jonny.... ** Disclaimer ** This electronic message contains information from Alsters Kelley, which may be privileged and confidential and is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed.
