Hi,

I'm having an issue with the Temp folder that Outlook uses whilst opening
attachments.

I want to change the location of the folder for the all users and I was
wondering if there is a key in the registry that allows you to change the
location for all users, rather than going through each one individually. We
have about 100 users so it would be very time consuming.

I've tried changing the OutlookSecureTempFolder found at:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\9.0\OUTLOOK\SECURITY but that
doesn't seem to work.

If I delete the OutlookSecureTempFolder location in the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\9.0\OUTLOOK\SECURITY so it is
blank, when I try to open an attachment, Outlook prompts me for a location.
Therefore the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT e.t.c. doesn't have any influence over the
current_users key.

Can anyone help?

Jonny....
