Thanks Jim. I'll look into that.

Ken,=20

Very likely each user has the MSN messenger client setup in the run key in
their registry.=20

HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

Look for the key:

MSMSGS "reg_sz" ":\program files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background

Blank the value or delete it for each user that has this issue. You'll may also
want to clear this value out of the default user registry to ensure that it
doesn't get auto-added to new users.=20

Scripting this reg change on login makes cleaning this up easier of course.

I am seeing the same thing on MetaFrame XPe FR2/SP2 Windows 2000 SP3 server and
Office 2000 (Outlook 2000). When the user closes Outlook it goes to
disconnected rather than logging off the user. Like Jeff Outlook is a
published application.

I would be very interested in any responses that might help correct this issue.

Thanks,

We are running Citrix Metaframe XP fr3 on W2K3. I'm running Microsoft Office
XP. All of the applications appear to work correctly except Outlook.
When a
user closes Outlook their window goes away but the session stays connected and
the logoff script never runs. =20 Any ideas?

Thanks.
