We are currently having an issue with a dll conflict with SAP and
Outlook XP. I've sent userdumps to Microsoft and they say that
Wdkcalex.dll is causing conflicts which results in sessions freezing or
running very slow. No immediate fix so for waiting on SAP. We are
running SAPGUI 6.2 build 21 and part of the install adds a Calendar
addin to Outlook.

Subject: [THIN] Outlook freezing Citrix session

Has anyone experienced problems with end-users' freezing in a Citrix
session
due to Outlook? If so, what did you do to verify if it was either a
Citrix
problem or an Outlook / Exchange problem. Not everyone is experiencing
this, just the CEO, CFO, and some other managers! (This problem really
picked the right people to irritate!)

I know it is an Outlook problem, because when I terminate other apps
within the users session, they are still frozen. When I terminate
Outlook, their Citrix session runs smoothly, and they can start Outlook
back up without a hitch.

Currently we are using Outlook XP with Exchange 5.5 / NT4 SP6a and
MetaFrame XPa FR1.

My thought is that it is an Exchange 5.5 problem, and that the database
is getting corrupted, etc. I would have done an eseutil on the *.edb
files awhile back, but there is not enough HDD space to do it! If this
is the case, we are planning on to move to Exchange 2000 or 2003, but we
have not decided which way to go. Any recommendations which way to go
would also be of help.

Thanks in advanced,
