[THIN] Outlook Express Issues with Roaming profiles.

HI All,
I have an issue with a clients site, they are moving from one Citrix
server to multiple and will be going from local profiles to roaming
profiles. I have searched, the list and I have found some notes on the
list noting that you can move the location of the outlook express mail
files, but also notes that indicate it cannot be on a network drive. I
am wondering has anyone managed to have Outlook express being used as
part of a users roaming profile, but not having their mail being stored
within the mail.
Or alternately does anyone know of any free mail clients such as eudora,
or netscape or alike that will allow for the users mail to be stored on
their home drive instead of part of their user roaming profiles.
Any suggestions would be apprecatied, the client is very concerened
about not having to purchase any software licences.
