I had this issue. I found that newprof caused me a few headaches, even though it worked well. Instead I turned to using the office installation wizard and created an MSI file to do the job. Works great... -----Original Message----- From: Claus, Brian [mailto:BClaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: November 5, 2002 10:59 AM To: Thethin (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] Outlook 2k with XPfr2 Hi all, I'm currently having major issues with outlook 2k running from XPfr2. The problem is: When I connect to the Outlook published app I get the profile wiz. When I connect to the published desktop and immediately launch outlook, I get the prof. wiz. When I connect to the pub desktop and wait 10-15 seconds, the profile creates and I'm fine. I have added newprof.exe -p \\servername\share\%username%\windows\default.prf <file://\\servername\share\%username%\windows\default.prf> to the usrlogon.cmd. it's working, but just too slow for the published app. Any suggestions? _____ Brian Claus, A+, Network+, MCP Network Administrator WESCO Distribution, Inc.
