This can: http://www.desktopstandard.com/CreateUpdateMailProfiles.aspx.
It's not too awful expensive, but we didn't buy it because we had
already invested in ScriptLogic which does a lot, but not all, of the
same stuff.

In our environment, we use ScriptLogic to create the profile, then use a
login script to launch Outlook to "process" the template into a real
profile, then have Outlook commit suicide by running a VBS macro that
closes Outlook. It's a pain, but it's the best we could do without
spending the $$ on Profile Maker. If this hadn't worked, we would have
paid the $$.

        Hi All,

I am currently running Outlook 2003 on Windows 2003 and have the
PRF file configured which works great for configuring the Outlook
profiles. However you can no longer use Profgen and newprof.exe to
create an Outlook profile. I have an application that requires having a
MAPI profile setup to run certain parts of the application and I don't
want to have to have everyone running Outlook if they are not going to
need it. Is there any way of creating an MAPI profile without running
Outlook 2003 on Windows 2003?

        Thanks,

        Chris
