How about setting your email system (local application) to filter "Out of
Office" subjects directly to trash? Eudora will do that, I assume others
will as well?

No don't unsubscribe anyone, you wouldn't want anyone doing that to you and it is a pain to resubscribe. I try and put people on vacation mode if they are going to be gone for more than a few days. I don't bother if it is just a day or two. You can put them on Vacation mode but if you do as a courtesy send them an email that you did. Jim
