Hi

What I've done for the same problem :

Open explorer
Open "Folder options" in the tools menu
Click on the "File types" tab
Select the extension you want to modifiy (DOC for example)
Click on the "Advanced" button
Select "Open" command
Uncheck "Browse in same window"

Repeat the operation as often as needed (once for each extension you want=
 to
modify)

Hope this help
