In my opinion there is no need to use Citrix if you plan on deploying OWA. Everything in OWA is presented in a browser anyway so there really is no reason to deploy Citrix. Now, if you are looking for a full featured Outlook client OWA is not the way to go. Although Exchange 2000 OWA is a vast improvement over 5.5 OWA it still is not the same as using a full Outlook client. If you want the full featured client then a Citrix solution would be perfect. But for just OWA I think Citrix would be overkill. I would like your comments or what everyone uses and why?
