Sure as long as the hardware is under utilized right? When there are
hardware resources available esx makes perfect sense. Nnow GSX or
virtual server the answer is not cut and dry sine they have a higher
performance over head (20-30%)

Ron,

Great write-up.  I was just playing with MS Virtual PC (a toy) this week
so
it is good timing as well.

I would assume ESX would have a place at a small/midsized ASP to deploy
virtual servers per customer -- reducing underutilized hardware while
increasing redundancy.  Sound reasonable?
