list! I wouldn't use anything else.  It is Ghost and SMS combined on

The big difference is that Altiris actually works!!!

SMS if a DOG, and that came from a MS pre sales consultant (Not me).=20

I use Altiris Exclusively, We have done Zen and other methods of =
deployment/management and keep coming back to Altiris. Bang for your =
buck you cant beat it.

Actually Altiris does a bit more, like imaging, OS migration, Software
delivery

Can anyone tell me if there are any major differences between these two
apps? I was under the impression that SMS was more enterprise oriented =

Altiris, but it looks like they both offer some of the same features. =
SMS
actually costs less (even with software assurance and SQL) than the =
Altiris
