And to think I used to worry about the rain water dripping onto a Tandem
thru a leaky roof tile. Daily admin job was to empty the bucket. Being a
Tandem, it had built in redundancy in the form of two buckets.

If you are onsite, pull the whole drive out, and put it in another dry
machine, power it up and pop it out. You'll only need power, no need to
reconfigure the drive. I did this in Australia after the dairy company I
worked for had a catastrophic failure in a 50000 gallon stage container and
flooded the computer room with partially treated milk!
