[THIN] O/T comments on Session Directory

Hello there,
Has anyone deployed session directory in anger and would like to pass comment
on it ?
I was interested to get an idea of when people thought it was a good idea to
deploy it .. ie What number of number of servers would require it or what
scenarios would deem it necessary.
