Hi Nick,

So a dir /x of those directories comes up zip?

Sounds like I'd be doing a chkdsk on that volume.

Regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] OT Windows File system

I've been searching everywhere for a solution and so far have turned up zip
(not an archive)

I have three directories which I cannont access on a Win2k server....

The reason I cannot access them seems to be because they have no 8.3 file
name, and I cannot use the displayed long file name as it claims it cant
find the file/directory

Does anybody know how to access the file system at this level to correct it?
