You need to be careful with application compatibility.

Other than that 2003 is a wise decision.

2000 isn't worth the effort. Go straight to 2003. The security
enhancementsa lone make it worth it. Also, the free migration tools
included are improved from 2000 and you might find you don't need to use
a 3rd party migration product. Check out the below webcast for more
info.

Subject: [THIN] OT: Whitepaper on Domain Upgrade

Hi

We are in an NT 4 domain and looking to upgrade to 2000. Just curious
if there are any white papers that argue for upgrading straight into
2003 vs. 2000. Any major problems with 2003 as of yet?

We are a relatively small to medium company with 20 servers and 400
clients at 20 locations in the US.

Any help or direction you can give would be great.

Thanks

Mario
