Check what entries you have in these zones. If I add entries to the host file, I can get to where I need to be. What I notice via a snoop is that the server is doing DNS queries via a broadcast. The server is configured as Hybrid and it does have static entries for IP, DNS, etc. So...why am I broadcasting out and how do I change the behavior? I've compared the TCP and DNS client services (in registry) on this server against other W2K servers and they look good. adam SBC SITES ONLY GOOGLE SEARCH: http://www.F1U.com ************************************************ For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: //www.freelists.org/list/thin ************************************************ SBC SITES ONLY GOOGLE SEARCH: http://www.F1U.com ************************************************ For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: //www.freelists.org/list/thin ************************************************ SBC SITES ONLY GOOGLE SEARCH: http://www.F1U.com ************************************************ For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: //www.freelists.org/list/thin ************************************************
