You might want to check out this link:
http://www.nwfusion.com/reviews/2003/0915spam.html Network World recently
did a review of 16 different spam filters last month. It was a pretty good
comprehensive review. Of course, this is just a review, and isn't meant to
be definitive.

take a peek at GFI Mail Essentials. I think we paid less than 800 for 250
users. Once you have it setup. It does not need much attention. The
Bayesian filter learns as it goes. We have had it running for a few months
now (about 6 I think) and it stops about 95% of the junk with very few false
positives.

Looking for a LOW COST spam filtering solution for small business. So far
Xwall seems to be the best option at $350 for 1 license. It checks against
MAPS / RBL / SLS / other spam databases.

The goal is low cost $500 max for 1 seat, and something that does NOT need
to be constantly tweaked to block majority of spam. The lsat thing the
client wants is to have to manually populate spam addresses all the time. A
couple a month is more than enough.

Thanks.
